Ski for Schools in Truckee Tahoe

On selected days participating resorts offer skiers and snowboarders discounted lift tickets and the opportunity to support education. The proceeds from lift ticket purchase go directly to the Excellence in Education Foundation, which provides enhanced educational opportunities for local students.

Skiing For Schools spring dates

Saturday, March 20, Sugar Bowl: Skiing for Schools Day, $25 per person. Limited quantity of tickets available the week prior on a first come, first serve basis at Porters locations (Truckee, Tahoe City).

Sunday, March 21, Homewood Mountain Resort: Community Benefit Day, $25 lift ticket will be available at Homewood ticket booths this day. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Excellence in Education. Call Homewood at 525-2992 for details.

Sunday, April 11, Squaw Valley USA: Skiing for Schools Day, $25 per person. Limited quantity of tickets available the week prior on a first come, first serve basis at Porters locations (Truckee, Tahoe City).

Sunday, April 18, Alpine Meadows: Community Benefit Day, $25 lift ticket will be available at Alpine ticket booths this day. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Excellence in Education. Call Alpine at 583-4232 for details.
