More than 300 skiing and snow shoeing foodies came out for the Ninth Annual Gourmet Ski Tour, a benefit for the Tahoe Cross Country Ski Education Association, the Strider Glider Program, Free Skiing For Schools, and The Winter Discovery Program, all which serve many youth in our community. After leisurely making the rounds to the tented food and wine stations, already satiated foodies gathered for and#8220;dessert in the yurt,and#8221; to nibble goodies like homemade chocolate chip cookies and brownies and assorted chocolate-dipped morsels. Everyone relaxed afterward outside the lodge, basking in the sun while slurping down slushy margaritas and listening to live music by Jo Mama, plopped atop a flatbed truck in the parking lot.
Some of those outdoor foodies at the ski tour included Chris and Lou Basile, Danny and Dave Brollier, Dianne Miller, Sandy Tomlinson, Jim Granger, Linda and Peter Morris, Pete Taylor, Marty Schoonmaker, Tom and Sue Rossi, Jim and Sandy Robins, Nancy and Doug McNair, Gayle and Rick Hackbarth, Tom and Sue Rossi, Adrian Tieslau and Cammie Anooshian, Michael and Patti Dowden, Linda and Peter Morris, Gail and Clyde Batavia, Steve and Laurie Gregory, Dewey and Lynda Paul, Jan and Rick Ganong, Linda and Rick Sheldon, Jenny and Dave Antonucci, Carol and Brad Hester, and Karen and Paul Honeywell
