OLYMPIC VALLEY, Calif. and#8212; Jeremy Bloom, a three-time World Champion, two-time Olympian, and 11-time World Cup gold medalist in freestyle moguls skiing has impressive skiing credentials. However, for Bloom, skiing represents only part of his extraordinary accomplishments. From NFL player to model to notable business personality listed in Forbes and#8220;Top 30 Under 30and#8221; most influential people in technology, to the founder of a nonprofit organization that grants lifelong wishes to seniors aged 65-plus, Bloom has led a impactful life, and now focuses on giving back.

Bloom will speak at a Squaw Valley Institute event on March 23, 5 p.m. at the Palisades Conference Room at the Village at Squaw.

In April 2010, Bloom co-founded the Internet company Integrate.com. In December, 2010, The Foundry Group invested $4.25 million into the start-up and in 2011 Integrate was highlighted as the and#8220;Best New Companyand#8221; at the American Business Awards in New York City.



A native of Colorado, Bloom is a former wide receiver and punt returner for the University of Colorado football team. As a freshman he was selected to the first-team Freshman All-America list by both the FWAA and collegefootballnews.com. After a long-fought battle with the NCAA to keep his skiing hopes alive for the 2006 Winter Olympics, the NCAA declared him permanently ineligible, cutting short his college football career by two years. He went on to regain his #1 status in World Cup Freestyle rankings in 2005 and competed for the United States in the 2006 Olympics. Two days after the Turin Olympics, Bloom flew to Indianapolis, to compete in the NFL Combine.

In addition, Bloom is Fox Sports college football analyst and worked for NBC as on-air talent at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.



Bloom will speak about his experiences as an Olympic skier, NFL player, how he took on the NCAA system that would not allow him to garner sponsors and, later, how he became a successful entrepreneur. Heand#8217;ll also speak extensively about what he does now to give back through and#8220;Wish of a Lifetime.and#8221; Tickets for this event are available at http://www.squawvalleyinstitute.org. Bloom launched the and#8220;Wish of a Lifetimeand#8221; Foundation with a vision to initiate a cultural change by granting the wish of a lifetime to deserving seniors throughout the United States. The Colorado-based nonprofit organization was launched in 2008 as The Donna Wheeler Foundation.- Bloom founded the foundation in living honor of his grandmother, Donna Wheeler, who is now retired and lives in Keystone, Colo. and serves as a constant inspiration to Bloom in his athletic and professional endeavors. Later, the Foundation was officially named Jeremy Bloomand#8217;s Wish of a Lifetime to establish a solid brand identity.
