Tahoe Forest Church is now at The Rock

Tahoe Forest Church of Truckee opens the doors to their new worship center at The Rock commercial center on Brockway Toad. After 10 years in the Glenshire community, Tahoe Forest Church is celebrating the acquisition of a new home base campus for its ministry outreach. Grab a coffee in this casual atmosphere and enter into relevant worship led by contemporary musician Tony Miller. Services on Saturday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. include lively music, Childrenand#8217;s Church with age appropriate teachings, and#8220;bounceand#8221; house, and nursery care. You can find the main entrance situated on the ground level just off the courtyard, building and#8220;Cand#8221;, Suite 105.
Pastor Mike Sampson and his wife Karen planted and nurtured Tahoe Forest Church since September 2000. Pastor Sampson uniquely shares the Bible in an applicable way that aims to challenge and inspire. He is dedicated to the mission of helping people meet God, find significance and enjoy life.
Youth Pastor Charlie Mengel is passionate about students connecting to God through retreats, group events, serving at homeless shelters and other outreach opportunities Revolution Student Ministries meets in its own space on the second floor, complete with their own indoor climbing wall. High school youth group meets Tuesday nights at 7:30 p.m., and middle school Also launching a new community support group, the church is sponsoring Celebrate Recovery. Tom and Judy Birmingham, with 11 combined years of experience, will be leading this group designed to help people break through the barriers of addictions and life issues. They eagerly anticipate the work of God in many lives as they testify to the joy, peace, and serenity God has brought to them.
