Tahoe League for Charity to tour Tahoe Forest Hospital

TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212;-The Tahoe League for Charity will hold its monthly luncheon meeting at June 13, 11:45 a.m., at Tahoe Forest Hospital in Truckee for both lunch and a tour of the hospital. The meeting and lunch will be in the Eskridge Conference Center. Lunch will be noon-12:30 p.m. following a social time together. After lunch hospital guides will take groups of five-six women to each department. Each small tour group will see the same thing.

There will be an expert within each department to speak about the specific area. The TLC Board will meet at 10 a.m. in the Eskridge Conference Room. Patti Boxeth, TLC member, is the liaison with the hospital the day of the meeting and Martha Simon, chief development officer for the hospital, has made the arrangements for TLC to visit the hospital.

Tahoe League for Charity is a nonprofit organization whose primary focus is to benefit the local communities of North Lake Tahoe and Truckee by providing scholarships to local students and grants to local nonprofit organizations.
