Citizens Bank of Northern California is now Tri Counties Bank
On Friday Sept. 3, 2011, Tri Counties Bank assumed substantially all of the deposits and loan assets of Citizens Bank of Northern California through a purchase assumption agreement. From a customer perspective, this means that Tri Counties Bank, a $2 billion-plus bank with 68 branches, stretching from the Oregon Border to Bakersfield, now stands behind the deposits and loans of Citizens Bank of Northern California.
Customers need not change any of their normal banking behaviors. All deposits and loans are safe, sound and readily accessible. Customers can continue to write and cash their Citizens Bank checks as usual and use their existing Citizens Bank Debit/ATM cards in any of our affiliated 63,000 ATM locations.
Here in Truckee, Ann, Barbara, Lindsay and Paul are still located in Citizens Bank Plaza and remain committed to the financial success of Truckee area customers. If you have any questions, call 530-550-3235 or Ann Carter at 550-3226. In the meantime, please log into the Tri Counties website for more information at http://www.tcbk.com.
