Girls on the Run still needs Running Buddies May 16-17 and June 5 for their 5K Run. Walk, jog, run, or skip with your girl as she completes a 5K! Running Buddies will experience the program first hand, feel a sense of accomplishment that you have made a difference in the life of a girl in our community, and have a ton of fun with your team of coaches and incredible girls. This is a perfect opportunity for women and men who can’t make the twice-weekly time commitment to be a coach. We meet after school in Truckee, Tahoe City, Kings Beach and Incline Village, Nev. locations. Serve as a role model and mentor for program participants. Can’t make it in May?
