Theresa (Terry) Ann Groman

Theresa (Terry) Ann Groman passed away on Dec. 9, 2009 in the arms of her family in the Tahoma home she lived in for 30 years.
Born and raised in Anoka, Minn., she married in St. Paul on Dec. 8, 1974. Moving to Tahoe in 1979, Terry worked for Squaw Valley USA, Homewood Ski Area, Bank of America and for the past 20 years, was the office manager for Tahoe Truckee Sierra Disposal.
Always devoted to the Catholic Church, she was known as and#8220;The Donut Ladyand#8221; for the outdoor summer mass services in Tahoma.
She cherished Lake Tahoe and all of its seasons. It wasn’t unusual seeing Terry wearing shorts in December. She loved to be on her boat, water ski, hike, bike ride, ski, and be with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Paul, her daughters, Sarah and Abby, her sisters, Patricia Morandi, Kathleen Dobisch, Frances Lund, and brother Martin Richards and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father, Frank Richards, her mother Clara Richards, step-mother Betty Ward Richards and sister Mary Ann Roy.
We invite those who knew and loved her to join us in a Memorial Mass to celebrate her life at Corpus Christi Church on Dec. 19 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow.
