TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Donand#8217;t waste valuable ski time, skiing yourself in to shape and#8211; join a specific Nordic conditioning and hit the snow at your peak. The eight-week camp is designed in two-consecutive day blocks to produce effective training load and adaptation. The two-day format provides tools for individuals to repeat and implement, at their convenience, later in the week.

Mondays, 9-10 a.m., movement preparation, core stability circuits and single leg stability and strength circuits. Tuesdays, 3:15-4:15 p.m., movement preparation, plyometrics, rapid response, agility circuits, technique via specific footwork drills and intervals, outside weather permitting

Train Nordic specific movements via core stability for postural integrity and strength; single leg stability to institute efficient foundational movement patterns; agility to fine tune proprioception/body awareness and nervous system; plyometrics to develop explosive power; and technique to hone on-snow economy.

This eight-week camp, designed in two-day blocks will maximize time with effective, specific training in a group setting. Learn good running habits including the incorporation of movement preparation; dynamic core stability exercises and regeneration strategies to keep you on an upward progressive track to reach your goals and avoid injuries.

Learn proper running posture and breathing; improve density and quality of your workout time with movement preparation exercises; achieve efficient biomechanical stride via drills and improve stride force with plyometrics.

Mondays, 4:15-5:15 p.m., movement prep, speed intervals, plyometrics. Tuesdays, 4:15-5:15 p.m., movement prep, tempo, sub lactate threshold and lactate threshold intervals and core stability.

The camp is designed in two-consecutive day blocks to produce effective training load and adaptation. Both eight-week sessions start Oct. 31, with a break during Thanksgiving. Cost is $240 with a special offer for camp participants receiving a $25, six-month center pass.
