Fitness Forever is a senior program that has inspired men and women for years. Cardio endurance segment features low and non-impact aerobic dance. Weight lifting segment uses small hand weights and tubing to sculpt muscles as well as build endurance. Combined with balance, flexibility and functional fitness this is a great class for seniors of all fitness levels! Yoga instructor Emily Williams will present a yoga class in the Tahoe XC yurt from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28. Stretch and expand warmed by the wood fire with a blend of Ashtanga and Lyengar practices, suitable for all levels. Then head out the door and ski or snowshoe on a gentle trail in the full moon with longtime Tahoe XC instructor Tim Hauserman. Hot drinks and the power of the moon await at the yellow hut.
