Event will provide military soldiers, officers, nurses, veterans and their families: Counseling, bodywork and massage therapy, education and career building tools, acupuncture, life and health coaching, nutritional advice and lunch. And a safe, nurturing environment for soldiers to speak freely about their experiences. There will be two trainings, one from 2-3 p.m. and one from 5-6 p.m. at the North Tahoe Event Center, 8318 N. Lake Blvd., Kings Beach. The first class will be a Heart Saver CPR course for the general public which includes the use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED). This is a four hour class, Dec. 10, 2009 at 5 p.m., Trout Creek Recreation Center, cost is $10. This second class will be a pediatric CPR course including adult CPR and use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Dec. 17, 2009 at 5 p.m., Trout Creek Recreation Center, for $10.
