TTUSD Schools to host Parent Information Nights in March
March 16, 2010
Each school site in the Tahoe-Truckee Unified School District (TTUSD) will be hosting a Parent Information Night to update parents and the community on the progress being made this year. This will give the administrators the opportunity to update, review and evaluate the progress at each school. It will also allow parents to connect directly with the administrators at their childand#8217;s school. Written questions will be gathered and either responded to at the end of the evening or in some cases at a later date.
One of the major goals of TTUSD has been to increase and improve communication. and#8220;We look at the meetings as being another way to communicate, and we hope they will be positive and productive for all,and#8221; said Steve Jennings, TTUSD superintendent. and#8220;The main focus will be for the principals and administrators from each school to present a progress report of sorts to their parents,and#8221; he added.
