Why we love Truckee
Carol and I want to give a big heart felt “thank you” to all of our friends, and to all of the people we had never met before, who came out in force to help look for our lost five month old dog, Shasta. He was lost out by Hobart Mills Road and the Immigrant Trail last Saturday.
Shasta had been obeying well with commands and off leash since day one as a pup. Saturday afternoon, he was spooked and ran off. After a two-day search, which involved literally dozens of people, we were re united with our “little” buddy Monday evening.
Carol and I would have never found him without this out pouring of community help and Truckee Love.
We love this community. The amazing turn out of all these caring people, friends and strangers, is why we have called the Truckee area our home for so many years. Thanks to all.
