Parking Garage not on TRPA November agenda
The Tahoe City Marina parking garage will not be an item decided by the Tahoe Regional Planning Agencys governing board in November as previously scheduled, according to Communications andamp; Legislative Affairs Chief Julie W. Regan. At the request of Placer County Planning Agency, the regulatory body will hear the item in January, Regan said in an e-mail.My understanding from the county is they would like more time to connect with interested parties to work out [the] issues, Regan said. The directors of the governing board were scheduled to discuss the parking garage along with several development projects proposed around North Lake Tahoe during a two-day meeting on Nov. 28 and 29 at the North Tahoe Conference Center in Kings Beach. The meeting will now likely only be scheduled on Wednesday. Discussions will include projects such as the Community Enhancement Program in Kings Beach and Homewood Mountain Resorts development.
