Peace vigil in Truckee tonight will stage an anti-war candlelight vigil in Truckee tonight, Tuesday, Aug. 28, at 7 p.m. Protesting the continuing American-led military operation in Iraq, local Move volunteer organizers Parvin Darabi and Kai Amundsen said they hope for over 50 people at the protest to be held in the Gateway Shopping Center at 11230 Donner Pass Road. Earlier today approximately 50 miles away President Bush spoke on the Iraq War in Reno, Nev.
