Pearce, Robert (Bob) Dixon
ALL |
“The greatest hiker we have ever known.” Robert “Bob” Dixon Pearce was a longtime resident of the Tahoe Basin. Born in Miami, Fla., he had a never-ending love for the Dolphins and Hurricanes.
Mountain Man Bob was an avid hiker, sailor, dog lover and good friend to many.
Son of Dixon Pearce and Billie Peeler Pearce, father of Dixon, Tom, Steve and Josh Pearce. We carry your heart in our heart. As Bob would say, “When in doubt, hike uphill.”
A Celebration of Life will be held at the North Lake Tahoe Conference Center from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008. Fond memories are welcome. Arrangements are under the care of Truckee-Tahoe Mortuary and Crematory.
