Pets of the week – June 13

Bitsy is available for adoption from the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe.

Hi, I’m Bitsy! I’m just a bitsy kitten, but I’m going to be looking for my forever home very soon. I’m almost seven weeks old and I’m hanging out in a foster home learning how to be a nice house kitty. And if you’re looking for kittens, I’m just one of many available for adoption. For more information on me or our other “pre-owned” pets, please call the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe at 581-3199 or email nanette@hstt.org.

Iggy is a blue merle Australian Shepherd with one blue eye. He is neutered and current on shots. He is extremely friendly, easy-going and nice to everyone. He is 8-9 yrs old and his owner no longer wants him. Iggy would be a good companion for a dog or to be your best friend. Iggy enjoys walks and is easy to handle on leash. He likes to chase and retrieve sticks/balls/frisbees, but due to his age he needs to be careful not to overdo it. A perfect pet for the person who wants a ‘turn-key’ dog. This pet is at the Tahoe Vista shelter where county fees apply. For info on adopting Iggy or other pets, call the Tahoe Vista shelter at 546-4260 or e-mail kviviano@placer.ca.gov.
