Phish coming to Tahoe this summer; tickets on sale March 29
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. — A chapter was added Tuesday to Lake Tahoe’s Phish story: The iconic band will play July 30-31 — a Tuesday and Wednesday — in the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys.
The 2013 Summer Tour was announced on the band’s website. It opens July 3 at Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor, Maine, then plays three nights at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in New York. After playing in Canada for the first time in 13 years, it goes west to Tahoe, then the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco Aug. 2-4 and the Hollywood Bowl Aug. 5. For the third-consecutive year the summer tour finishes Labor Day Weekend in Colorado.
Tickets for the general public go on sale March 29 and 30. Online requests at tickets.phish.com have already begun.
Phish played two shows at Harveys in 2011.
