Truckee local and Team Luna Chix member Katerina Nash held off the women’s pro field on Saturday to win the final criterium stage at the Tour de Nez cycling race at Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort.
In past years, the Tour has been much more featured in Truckee, highlighted by a leg through downtown. However, economic issues led to a smaller Truckee-area contingent this year.
This year, it held a leg on Thursday in Sparks and one on Friday in Reno before wrapping Saturday near Truckee.
