According to organizer Parvin Darabi, Tuesday’s vigil was scheduled to correspond with others being held by MoveOn peace activists across the country.

“We would like to send our disgust with this unjustified war to our members of Congress and request that they end this war and bring our troops home when they return to Congress in September,” Parvin said in a news release.

Edgewood Tahoe to host US Open qualifier


STATELINE, Nev. — The United States Golf Association recently announced that Edgewood Tahoe Resort will host one of 109 local qualifying tournaments for the 2021 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines.
