Placer supes meet in Tahoe

The Placer County board of supervisors will host its regular board meeting in North Tahoe Monday and Tuesday.

The supervisors will meet at 2 p.m. Monday at the North Tahoe Conference Center in Kings Beach. Agenda items include discussion of Truckee River misconduct on the Fourth of July, possible action authorizing a loan agreement for the Minnow Avenue public parking lot in Kings Beach, and a resolution authorizing more than $1.1 million in a pre-development loan agreement for scattered housing sites in Kings Beach.

The meeting Tuesday begins at 9 a.m. at the conference center. Two key agenda items include an informational update on the Kings Beach Commercial Core Improvement Project, and a staff recommendation for the location of a Tahoe-based government center at either the Trading Post property in Tahoe City, a downtown Kings Beach property or the county-owned Martis Valley site. The items are scheduled for 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. respectively.

The conference center is located at 8318 North Lake Blvd. in Kings Beach. The meetings are scheduled to be held in the Lodge Pole Room.
