Placer voter registration forms available
The last day to register to vote for the Nov. 6, 2007 Special District Election is Oct. 22. Registration forms may be picked up at all post offices and libraries in Placer County or online at http://www.ss.ca.gov. To further assist Placer County voters, voter registration forms will be placed outside the county Elections Division entrance at 2956 Richardson Drive, Auburn, on Oct. 22 until midnight. Completed registration forms will be processed the next morning. In addition completed registration forms can be placed in the secure, drive-up drop box located in front of the Elections Division office.

Town approves snow removal pilot program
The Truckee Town Council has unanimously approved of a pilot program to remove snow on privately maintained paved trails in the area.
