Plumas NF: Temporary Closure of Feather Falls trailhead road

The Feather Falls Trailhead and Campground access road will be closed intermittently for approximately five weeks beginning June 16 through July 21, to widen the roadway. Travelers should expect delays of up to one hour. The closure may be extended through August 30, for surfacing and painting of traffic control lines.

The access road will be open to traffic during the July 4 weekend but will require traveling at a slow rate of speed. Traffic controls will resume on July 7. The access road is located just off Lumpkin Road about 1/2 mile west of the town of Feather Falls.

For more information, contact the Feather River Ranger District, (530)534-6500.
