Polic Record: From the Town of Truckee Police and Nevada County Sheriff logs
At 12 p.m. on Herringbone Way, victim reported to police the theft of firewood rounds from his front yard. No information on suspect.
At 2:30 p.m. on Donner Pass Road, police received reports of a female subject lying on the floor of the business and then on the ground at the parking lot. The subject was located and arrested for public intoxication.
At 12 a.m. a citizen came into the Truckee Police Department to file a report regarding a lost passport.
At 9 a.m. on Donner Pass Road, a local bank called 911 in reference to a subject causing disturbance. Police investigation revealed the subject was attempting to start a physical fight with another man. Subject was arrested and released with a citation.
At 4 p.m. on Hirschdale Road, police received reports of three suitcases found under Interstate 80 on Glenshire Drive. The property was collected and booked into the Truckee Police Department for safekeeping.
At 4:40 p.m. on Donner Pass Road, a citizen found a passport and a wallet.
At 8:30 p.m. on Estates Drive, a victim reported to police of a burglary attempt. A subject broke into his vehicle and stole miscellaneous paperwork.
At 8:40 a.m. on Pioneer Trail Road, police found a suspect to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Suspect was arrested.
At 3 p.m. on Donner Pass Road, police stopped a vehicle for code violation. Driver cited for no license.
At 10:30 p.m. on High Street, an intoxicated subject fell approximately 15 feet. The subject was transported by the Truckee Fire Department to the Tahoe Forest Hospital.
At 9:10 p.m. on Interstate 80, police stopped a vehicle for code violations. The driver presented a false ID to the officer and did not have a drivers license. He was arrested and booked into the Nevada County Sheriffs Office in Truckee and the vehicle was towed.
At 2:30 a.m. on Donner Pass Road, police stopped a vehicle for weaving. The driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and booked into the Nevada County jail in Truckee.
At 1:10 p.m. on Virginia Street, a citizen found a drivers license and ATM/debit card, she turned in to the Nevada County Sheriff’s office.
At 8:40 a.m. on Deerfield Drive, a U-Haul truck involved in a single vehicle road accident. The truck had its fuel tank punctured causing a fuel leak on the roadway and shoulder. The Environmental Health Department was contacted along with the Town of Truckee.
At 12 a.m. on Wiltshire Lane, police arrested a female subject for local misdemeanor warrants.
At 5 p.m. on Lookout Loop, police contacted subject at his residence during burglary alarm. The subject was arrested for possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
At 11:50 p.m. on Brockway Road, police received reports of a subject that suffered serious body injury while intoxicated. He was punched in the mouth, sustaining injury to his upper lip. There was no suspect information since victim was too intoxicated to give any statement at the time of the incident.
At 12:40 a.m. on Donner Pass Road, an officer stopped a vehicle for running a stop sign. The driver was found to be under the influence and was arrested for a DUI.
