Police Reports: The following reports were taken from Town of Truckee Police logs from Nov. 5 through Nov. 12
At 12 a.m. on Donner Pass Road, police discovered subject to be extremely intoxicated. He was arrested for public intoxication and booked into Nevada County Sheriff’s office in Truckee after being medically cleared.
At 8:30 a.m. on Estates Drive, a victim reported to police a $200 withdrawal from her checking account for miscellaneous items she did not purchase.
At 6 a.m. on Royal Crest, police received reports of an unidentified person using victim’s debit card number to make an unauthorized purchase of airline tickets.
At 9 a.m. on Alder Drive, a minor stated he consumed one six-ounce beer in the morning before school. Police spoke with his mother and other school officials about the incident.
At 7:40 p.m. on Sierra Avenue, police stopped a vehicle for code violation and the driver was found in possession of marijuana. Driver was cited and released.
At 8 a.m. on Oxford Circle, police received reports of an arranged sale of wood using Craig’s List. Suspect cashed check but made only partial delivery of wood.
At 10:20 a.m. on Stoney Creek Court, a vehicle drove into a ditch and damaged a power pole. The driver left the car and was unidentified. Vehicle was towed and reports taken.
At 1:30 p.m. on Poppy Lane, police received reports of father and son engaging in physical altercation.
At 3:15 p.m. on Donner Pass Road, a suspect and her husband were contacted when they refused to leave a business when asked. The female was arrested for two outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
At 5:10 p.m. on Donner Pass Road, police stopped a vehicle for a code violation. Driver was cited for several violations and vehicle was towed.
At 3:30 a.m. on Donner Pass Road, police received reports of a victim of domestic abuse. Upon contact the victim reported being in a physical altercation with her live-in boyfriend. The suspect was contacted and determined to be the aggressor in the situation, he was arrested and booked into Nevada County Sheriff’s Office.
At 4:50 a.m. on Highway 267, police received reports of a vehicle parked the wrong way on Highway 267. Upon contact the driver was discovered to be intoxicated and unable to care for herself. Driver was arrested and transported to a Nevada County Sheriffs Office for booking.
At 5:20 p.m. on Donner Pass Road, victim forgot wallet at a restaurant. On a return trip to the restaurant victim was unable to find the wallet.
At 12 a.m. on Hansel Avenue, police received reports of furniture and other items stolen from unoccupied residence garage. No information on a suspect.
At 9:50 a.m. on Donner Pass Road, police received reports of a vehicle and pedestrian hit and run. After investigation it was revealed to be a verbal argument resulting in one subject hitting the other’s subject vehicle with his hand.
