Joseph Dru Polochko, 27, passed away on Aug. 27, 2007 in Loomis, Calif.

Joey is survived by his parents, Jan and Glenn Polochko, of Truckee; sister, Pearl Wade, and her husband Chris; and sister, Mira Polochko, of Kailua, Hawaii; and grandmother, Patricia Kennedy, of Shoreview, Minn. He was the loving nephew of Bud, Brian and Suzanne Kennedy of Chicago; Bruce and Linda Kennedy of Roseville, Minn.; Scott and Joan Kennedy of New York City; and Gail and Jack Valdivos of New York City. He is also survived by his cousins Keith, Alex, Bridget, and Emily Kennedy; and Brent and Glenn O’Brien.

Joey was born on Jan. 19,1980 in Gainesville, Fla., and lived in New York, Indianapolis, and Toledo, before moving to Truckee in 1991 where he graduated from high school in 1998.



Joey had a love for science and wanted to be an inventor and astronaut at different points in his life. He was a great cook and had a knack for juggling flaming torches. His number one love was music. He started playing the drums at the age of 8 and through hours and hours of practice turned into an amazing musician. He was always happiest when playing his drums. Joey was a beloved member of his family and is sorely missed.
