Pot bust nets 20 plants

INCLINE VILLAGE ” Washoe County Sheriff’s Office deputies entered the War Bonnet Way home of brothers Andrew and Jonathan Craig Saturday when Andrew Craig’s girlfriend called to complain that he hit her, and found 20 marijuana plants, said Washoe Sheriff’s Sgt. Bill Devine.
Jonathan, 29 was arrested for felony cultivating marijuana, misdemeanor unlawful possession, felony possession of marijuana, felony maintaining a place to sell a controlled substance, felony possession of a controlled substance for sale and felony unlawful possession.
Andrew Craig, 30, was arrested on six felonies and two misdemeanors; felony cultivating marijuana, felony failure to register as a sex offender, felony possession of marijuana, misdemeanor unlawful possession, felony maintaining a place to sell a controlled substance, felony possession of a controlled substance for sale, felony unlawful possession and misdemeanor battery/domestic violence.
Both were still in custody at the Washoe County detention facility Thursday, where Andrew Craig is being held on a $22,202 bail; Jonathan Craig on $13,935 bail. Devine said the deputies had no reason to believe there was any marijuana in the home until the call. They seized the plants, various marijuana paraphernalia including pipes, crushers and baggies.
