Producers of NBC’s ‘Three Wishes’ alter focus of the reality TV show

Paul Raymore

Producers in charge of casting for the upcoming reality TV show “Three Wishes” are still considering coming to Truckee to film an episode of the show, according to Brinn Wellise of Switchback Public Relations and Marketing; however, they have somewhat altered the focus of the show.”They’re not necessarily looking for tragedy stories,” she said. “They’re looking for more positive, fun, light-hearted stories.”Topics suggested by a press release issued by the casting directors included: struggling inventors; people wishing to relive an old glory; reuniting friends, family members or long-lost lovers; people haunted by something in their past; saving a factory from closing; helping someone overcome a fear or phobia; a child that would love to rescue animals in danger; a soldier’s story; or people who have survived via medical miracles.Wishes from Truckee are still being accepted and should be sent to: maxs@glassmanmedia.com. Please include background on the person(s) being nominated, the specific wish that should be granted, a picture of the nominee with contact information for that person, and include the person’s name, city and state in the subject line of the e-mail.For more information please call (818) 566-8257.
