Public meeting notice: North Tahoe Fire Protection District, April 6

The North Tahoe Fire Protection District will be hosting a meeting on Monday, April 6, at 7 a.m. in the Tahoe City PUD boardroom regarding snow storage options for downtown Tahoe City.

Since the meeting last month with snow removal contractors, area agencies have been working to identify specific sites within the downtown region that could possibly be used for snow storage. Specifically, the fire department has been researching historical data to get an idea of the amount of snow stored and identify the specific costs to downtown businesses.
