Public sought for input on North Tahoe marketing efforts

The North Lake Tahoe Resort Association is launching an review of the organization’s marketing efforts, and the public is asked to participate in the discussion via a series of meetings.
The first meeting is a workshop scheduled for today at 1 p.m. at the North Tahoe Conference Center, 8318 North Lake Tahoe Boulevard in Kings Beach.
This is an interactive meeting and community members are encouraged to participate in discussion with Board of Directors and Marketing Committee members about marketing goals and objectives, target markets and seasonality of efforts. Lauren O’Brien, of Streamline Consulting Group in Truckee, will facilitate the meeting.
An overview of this workshop will be presented at the NLTRA’s Board of Directors meeting, with Marketing Committee participation, on March 5, 8:30 a.m., at the Tahoe City Public Utility District, 221 Fairway Drive in Tahoe City.
Interested members of the community are also asked to attend a joint NLTRA Board of Directors/Marketing Committee meeting and public workshop on March 25, 2 p.m., at the Tahoe City Public Utility District. The group will discuss details of the marketing plan, while establishing a direction for fiscal year 2008-2009. For more information about the NLTRA, visit http://www.nltra.org.
