PUD OKs hook-up fee hike

Staff Reports

The Truckee Donner Public Utility District approved an electric hook-up fee hike in its regularly scheduled board meeting Wednesday, April 18.

Board of Directors approved the flat rate amount of $1,100, the average cost incurred by the PUD for connecting new buildings to the power grid. The previous fee was $860.

No comment from the public was reported at the meeting.

In other news, the PUD is busy building a new well next to Joerger Road near Truckee Sanitation District.

Along with the new well is a 24-inch pipeline that will connect the new well to the remaining water system.
