Relax, rejuvenate at Lake Tahoe with ‘A Day of Healing Arts’

TAHOE VISTA, Calif. — Tahoe Flow Arts Studio will host “A Day of Healing Arts,” a daylong wellness event from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at the Perennial Plaza in Tahoe Vista.

The third annual event will feature shopping booths from local artisans, along with food and beverage vendors who focus on local, sustainable ingredients, according to a press release.

On-site massage, skin care and flow workshops are also scheduled, along with live performances from Tahoe Flow artists and special guests.

“Visitors and community members will be treated to a fun and educational experience, learning tips for healthy living and wellness,” officials said. “Flow workshops include aerial arts, dance, meditation, yoga, and more.”

Tahoe Flow Arts Studio, located at 6921 North Lake Blvd. in Tahoe Vista, focuses on mind and body wellness. Owner Kelly Smiley operates the studio, which offers classes that range from high-intensity yoga sessions to calm, rehabilitating meditation.
