Reno airport gets funds for tarmac paving
RENO, Nev. ” Officials at Reno-Tahoe International Airport say work will begin in July to repave the tarmac north of the “C” concourse.
Funding for the $2.8 million project comes from federal stimulus money.
Officials say the tarmac surface is 20 years old and is showing signs of wear and tear.
Airport spokesman Brian Kulpin says work will be done in sections to limit disruptions along the concourse used by United and American airlines and US Airways.
The project is expected to be completed by November.
