Drivers on Highway 89 north north of Truckee can expect delays starting today, Aug. 21, due to repaving of the highway.

Work on the project will start Monday and continue through the remainder of August, according to Caltrans. Crews will be on the road Monday through Thursday, between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Intermittent one-way traffic control will be in effect north of Hobart Mills Road and work will progress north to the Nevada/Sierra County line.

Meanwhile, on highway 267 from Martis Creek to Northstar Drive, drivers can expect one-way traffic control from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday through Wednesday while a contractor is scheduled to do electrical work. Also on Highway 267 from Northstar Drive to the road to the ranger station expect one-way traffic control from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. A contractor is scheduled to construct a turn pocket.
