Road work for the week of May 10
I-80 from South Yuba River to Nevada County line: Westbound No. 2 lane closures 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. (8 a.m. Saturday) Sunday through Friday nights.
I-80 at Soda Springs: Eastbound onramp closed from midnight Tuesday to 8 a.m. Friday.
I-80 from Castle Peak to Donner Park: No. 1 lane closures from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday in both directions.
I-80 from Donner Lake to Trout Creek: East and westbound lane closures from 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Highway 20 from Yuba County line to I-80: East and westbound No. 1 lane closed from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Highway 174 from Main Street to the Bear River Bridge: One-way traffic controls from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Highway 174 from Old Grass Valley Road to Nevada County line: One-way traffic controls from 7:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday through Saturday.
The truck and bus detour from Interstate 80 will begin one hour prior to the closures. All trucks and buses will be stored and given a full safety inspection by the CHP prior being piloted through. Expect at least an hour and a half delay.
On westbound I-80 from Secret Town Road to Colfax:
Sunday, May 10, 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.: Full westbound closure.
Monday, May 11, 6 p.m. to 7 a.m.: Full westbound closure.
Tuesday, May 12, 6 p.m. to 7 a.m.: Full westbound closure.
Wednesday, May 13, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.: Full westbound closure.
Thursday, May 14,7 p.m. to 7 a.m.: Full westbound closure.
Friday, May 15, 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.: Full westbound closure.
Saturday, May 16: No traffic interfering work scheduled.
On eastbound I-80 from Colfax to Secret Town Road:
Sunday, May 10, 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.: Eastbound No. 2 closed.
Monday, May 11, 6 p.m. to 7 a.m.: Eastbound No. 2 closed.
Tuesday, May 12, 6 p.m. to 7 a.m.: Eastbound No. 2 closed.
Wednesday, May 13, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.: Eastbound No. 2 closed.
Thursday, May 14, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.: Eastbound No. 2 closed.
Friday, May 15, 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.: Eastbound No. 2 closed.
Saturday, May 16, 8 p.m. to 10 a.m.: F eastbound closure.
After the eastbound closures are lifted each morning, motorists can expect the westbound No. 1 lane closed from 9 p.m. Sunday, May 10 through 7 a.m. Thursday, May 14.
