Schneider, Annegret "Anne"

Annegret “Anne” Schneider, passed away peacefully Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007 in Truckee, Calif. Born Dec. 12, 1927 in Hanover, Germany to Hans and Margarete Volckers. She married Theodore “Ted” Schneider in Germany in 1953.

Anne and Ted moved to the United States in 1958. In 1964 they moved to Vista, Calif., where she resided until 1997 when she moved to Truckee to be closer to her family. Anne lived and traveled all over the world. In her travels she was able to live in many different countries including Germany, Italy, Iran, Turkey and Egypt. She was fluent in four languages: English, German, Italian and French. Anne was a member of P.E.O. and when she wasn’t traveling she loved to play cards.

Anne is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ted, who passed in 1966. She is survived by her loving children, Carolyn Weber, Martin Schneider and his wife Heidi. Caring grandmother of Amy, Rusty, Michael, Brenton, Courtney, Nicolette, and Alex. Loved great grandmother of Cody, Nicholas, and Amara Kay.



Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007, 12:30 p.m., at Eternal Hills Memorial Park, 1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside, Calif.
