TRUCKEE/TAHOE “-A special Tahoe Truckee Unified School District Board meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, to discuss possible changes to the district’s transportation arrangements next year.

The meeting, planned for the Sierra Mountain Community Education Center, will discuss district options to either shrink the transportation borders or introduce a parent-pay system to continue transportation as it works now.

Nanette Rondeau, district transportation director, said the borders could be shrunk to Donner Lake ” now excluding Donner Summit ” to cut costs or parents could pay some amount to continue services as they are.
