Scott Cale "Scotty" Barnes

July 4, 1951 ~ January 17, 2008

Scotty was a long time Tahoma resident, fisherman extraordinaire, a great brother, dad, uncle and friend.

Known and loved by North Tahoe residents as the cabbie favored by all. Scotty drove for Fast Taxi, and before that ZZ Cab.

Scotty is survived by his sister, Judy of Tahoma, brothers; Randy, formerly of Tahoma and Terry of Reno, several wonderful nieces and nephews, and his son, Jack Daniel.

Scotty was a man with a lot of love, loyalty and a willingness to give all to family, friends and occasionally, tourists as well. His sense of humor could not be surpassed, or matched by anyone.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 26, at the First Baptist Church on 390 Fairway Drive in Tahoe City at 12:30 p.m. A reception will be held at Pete and Peters following the service.

For more information, call Randy or Judy at 525-9295.

Scotty, we love you!
