Search crews looking for Truckee man, 18, missing since Sunday

TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; The Truckee Police Department is asking residents for information to help locate an 18-year-old man who was last seen walking his dog in a Glenshire neighborhood on March 13.

According to a missing person report issued Tuesday morning, Andre Simonpietri, 18, left his residence in the Glenshire area on Sunday, March 13, at about 11 a.m. with his family’s dog. Police reported the dog was later found that day wandering the woods east of Glenshire.

On Monday, the Nevada County Search and Rescue Team began looking for Simonpietri, according to the report.

At 9 a.m. Tuesday, the team restarted its search for Simonpietri and#8212; described as a white male; 5 feet, 6 inches tall; about 154 pounds; and brown hair.

Law enforcement is asking residents with any leads to call Truckee Police at 530-550-2320.
