Services for Wirgler on Saturday
Suzann Jean Wirgler, of Truckee, Calif., passed away on Dec. 1 of a sudden illness.
She is survived by her husband and life partner of 22 years, Jim Wirgler. She is survived by her daughter, Dedra Archini (Rohnert Park); daughter, Jamie and son-in-law, Schaun McClay (San Carlos); son, Darren, and daughter-in-law, Susan Wirgler (Shingle Springs); daughter, Renee and daughter-in-law, Regina Wirgler-Aiello (Hayward); daughter, Lauren, and son-in-law, JonThomas Deardorff (Sacramento).
She is also survived by her sister, Angel, and brother-in-law, David Cazatt (Hayward); brother, Dale, and sister-in-law, Debbie Johnson (Redwood City); brother, Donald Howard (Pineland); and brother, Jay Johnson, (Placerville). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as many grandchildren. Suzanne is preceded in death by her parents, Myrle and John M. Johnson, and sister, Victoria Trumble.
Suzann, or Sue, was born on April 24, 1954, in Toronto, Canada. She was raised on the San Francisco Peninsula and graduated from Crestmoor High School. She attended ROP for accounting and worked for Chicago Title for many years. For the last 11 years, she had been an employee of Safeway as a head clerk as well as a union steward.
She is known for outgoing and down-to-earth personality, her loyal and loving spirit, and her generosity towards others. Sue loved children, horses, camping, fishing, boating, Harleys, butterflies and gardening. She will be missed by all that knew her.
A memorial service will be held for Suzann on Dec. 13, 2008, at noon. Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Suzann’s life at the Sierra Bible Church, 11460 Brockway Rd., Truckee, CA 96161, (530) 587-6025.
