Sierra Lakes County Water District: Incumbents Freedle, Bern prevail
Wade Freedle and Martin Bern will keep their seats on the water district that serves Serene Lakes on Donner Summit.
Freedle collected 32 percent of the vote and Bern received 30 percent for the Sierra Lakes County Water District.
Joseph Gray and Al Le Bel were defeated, receiving 21 percent and 17 percent of the vote respectively.
The Sierra Lakes County Water District is dealing with the proposed development of Royal Gorge, which would require more water supply from the district.
