Sierra Sun hires news, education reporter

TAHOE CITY, Calif. and#8212; The Sierra Sun is pleased to announce the hiring of Jason Shueh as a news reporter.
Shueh, originally from Walnut Creek, Calif., spent the past few months working as a writer for Diablo Magazine after working for nearly a year as a news reporter for the Clark Fork Valley Press in Montana.
He replaces former reporter Kyle Magin, who moved on to the Sierra Sunand#8217;s sister newspaper in Grass Valley, The Union.
Shueh, a 2008 graduate of Brigham Young University with a bachelorand#8217;s degree in communications and journalism, will work mainly out of the Sierra Sunand#8217;s Dollar Hill office just east of Tahoe City, covering news and education in Tahoe City and along the west and north shores of Lake Tahoe for the Sunand#8217;s print and online publications.
