Sierra Sun moves into new offices

It’s official – the Sierra Sun has moved.

This week, the Sierra Sun is moving out of its old office in the Westgate Center on Donner Pass Road.

The new Sierra Sun offices are in the Donner Lake Plaza building at 12315 Deerfield Drive, near Donner State Park. (See map at right)

The building is tucked behind the Donner Pass Road Chevron gas station and The Beginning restaurant, in the same building as Bassett Flooring.

“Our new offices offer us more space and will help us to better serve the Truckee community,” said Mary Jurkonis, Sierra Sun publisher.

“This is an exciting time for the Truckee community and we hope to be able to keep up with the town’s growth and still maintain a small-town newspaper feel,” added Jurkonis.

Due to the move, it may be difficult to get in contact with the Sun via phone or fax until Friday, Nov. 3. We expect to have our office completely up and running by Monday, Nov. 6. We thank our readers for their patience during this somewhat hectic week, and apologize for any inconvenience created by the move.

If you have any questions about the Sun’s impending relocation, please call us at (530) 587-6061.

Our fax number will remain (530) 587-3763, and our e-mail remains
