Sierra Sun, North Lake Tahoe Bonanza hire news, education reporter

INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. and#8212; The North Lake Tahoe Bonanza and Sierra Sun are pleased to announce the hiring of Matthew Renda as a news reporter.

Renda, originally from Cleveland, spent the past few months freelance writing after working three years as a reporter for the Taconic Press in Hyde Park, N.Y.

He replaces former news editor Annie Flanzraich, who moved on to become editor of the Bonanzaand#8217;s sister newspaper in South Lake Tahoe, the Tahoe Daily Tribune.

Renda, a 2004 graduate of Kent State University with a bachelorand#8217;s degree in English literature, will work mainly out of the Bonanzaand#8217;s Incline Village office, covering news and education in Incline Village and Crystal Bay for the print and online publications of the North Lake Tahoe Bonanza and Sierra Sun.
