Silver spikes for Switchback

Switchback Public Relations+Marketing, Inc, based in Truckee, Calif., recently received five top awards at the Sierra Nevada Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Silver Spike awards dinner. PRSA is the largest professional organization for public relations professionals in the United States.

“I am thrilled the Switchback team was recognized for all of our hard work for several clients,” said Brinn Wellise, president/owner of Switchback PR + Marketing, Inc. “We have great clients to work with, which helps make our efforts successful.”



Switchback was honored to accept three Awards of Excellence. In the category of Ongoing Programs, budget more than $25,000, an award was received for Chase International. In the category of Special Events, budget $10,000 to $25,000, awards were received for Truckee Wine, Walk and Shop, as well as Bobo Fest 2007.

In addition, Switchback also received a Silver Spike Award and the Judges Choice Overall for Reno-Tahoe, America’s Adventure Place in the category of Ongoing Programs, budget more than $25,000. The Silver Spike Award is the highest honor given.
