Small fire on Hirschdale Road contained

A small fire broke out a mile south of Interstate 80 on Hirschdale Road around 11:30 a.m. today. Fire Crews were able put out two spot fires on either side of the road within an hour.

The fire was started from a powerline that went down, according to Nick Brown from the Truckee Fire Protection District.
