Update: Truckee courthouse closed; Snow day announced for Tahoe Truckee Unified School District

Update 10:31 a.m.

Due to continued adverse weather conditions and regional power outages, the Truckee courthouse will remain closed today, Jason Galkin, Court Executive Officer, wrote in an email to the Sierra Sun.

“For emergency matters, please contact the Nevada city courthouse clerk’s office. The court will contact parties on all other matters regarding rescheduling,” Galkin wrote.

Tahoe Truckee Unified School District called a snow day for its schools today (Tuesday, Dec. 14).



“All schools are closed,” officials wrote in a Facebook post Tuesday. “All school activities are cancelled unless notified otherwise.”
