So you thought last night was cold?

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE ” We will continue to see dry conditions today after the cloudiness and even a few light flurries and snow showers that were around yesterday in some places.

There may be some areas of early morning freezing fog and low clouds near Truckee and over Lake Tahoe but a return of sunshine although some cloudiness at times will be present today.

Highs will warm into the lower to mid 30s in most areas with some upper 30s on the East Shore and near Markleeville and Woodfords with upper 20s at higher elevations.

Winds will generally be light northeasterly in the 5 to 10 mph range. For tonight, expect fair skies and light winds except again for some patches of freezing fog and low clouds around Truckee and over Lake Tahoe.

Lows will drop into the single digits in the coldest locations with teens to near 20 common elsewhere. Enjoy the calm weather conditions while they last!
