North Tahoe volleyball: Lakers honored with All-League selections

Staff report

Four North Tahoe volleyball players received Northern Division III All-League honors, led by senior outside hitter Jordan Briggs' selection to the first team.

The awards were determined by the league's head coaches.

In addition to Briggs, North Tahoe seniors Jamie Dodge and Helana Kearns were voted to the All-League second team, and senior Sherene Clegg received honorable mention recognition.

Seniors Kira Porter from Incline and Kassidy Lommori from Yerington shared the Co-MVP award, while Incline's Tacy Kelly was Coach of the Year.

With a roster of only seven players, North Tahoe finished the season 17-5 overall and 9-3 in league. The Lakers entered the Northern Division III regional championships as a No. 3 seed before falling to Incline in four sets in the semifinal round.
