A large number of Truckee and North Tahoe basketball players were honored with All-Mount Rose League selections, led by Truckee senior Aleigh Krug’s MVP award and Truckee coach Geoff Stephens’ Coach of the Year.

The awards were decided by the league’s coaches.

In boys’ All-League voting, Incline coach Brian Broaddus was named Coach of the Year of the 2A/3A mixed league, while Incline senior Jordan Wright and Sparks senior Erick Garcia were selected Co-MVPs.



Truckee senior Trent McMullen was voted to the first team, while Truckee senior Clayton O’Connell made the second team and the Wolverines’ Graham Millie and Nash McMullen received honorable mention recognition. North Tahoe’s Alex Tyler, a sophomore point guard, also received honorable mention.

In girls’ voting, Truckee senior Krysta Murphy and junior Sydnie English and North Tahoe junior point guard Elizabeth Buhler each were selected to the All-League first team.



Truckee’s Katey Hamill and North Tahoe’s Samantha Jeffers were voted to the second team, while the Lakers’ Irene Rojas and the Wolverines’ Sassy Graham, Jackie Bolton and Olivia Duner all were recognized with honorable mention.
